All drop bar bicycle purchases require a complete fitting and custom design. No matter what type of road bike you are looking for, we feel it is necessary to interview you, measure your legs, arms, torso, hands, feet and thighs prior to preparing a bicycle for you. Most people are proportionately different and have a wide variety of experiences that lead them to purchasing their next road bike and each bicycle should be different. We patiently prepare each bicycle to the specifics of the individual.

For anyone seeking a drop bar road bike, please be prepared that we only keep touring bicycles for same day purchase. Road bicycle purchases are always custom designed and ordered. We anticipate having a road bike designed and prepared for you. Road bicycle purchases will take a few days or even a few months for a frame, parts, wheels and accessories to be prepared to your specifications.

For anyone seeking a proper road bicycle and would like to demo a bicycle, we do not feel a 5 minute ride around the block is acceptable data to purchase a bicycle. We believe a few days of long distance riding is appropriate. We have a small fleet of exceptional demos as a consideration. However, we must warn the novice rider that you will not be able to test ride the exact bicycle you plan to purchase because it does not exist yet. There are many bicycle shops that keep rows of generic sized bicycles ready for same day purchase and pick-up that you may ride around the block. Again, we emphasize, this is not our approach.

Please prepare extra time when you visit us to purchase your bicycle and perhaps call ahead for an appointment if you would like a road bicycle.
